1. Enabler Layer & Scope
NepalVenture.com is strictly a discovery and informational infrastructure provider. We act as an enabler layer to bridge the gap between growth-stage businesses and professional capital.
IMPORTANT: We are NOT an investment pooling platform, a public brokerage, a licensed financial advisor, or a stock exchange. We do not handle, facilitate, or escrow any financial transactions, nor do we provide investment recommendations. All decisions made on the platform are the sole responsibility of the participants.
2. Verification Limitations
A. Identity Cross-Check
Verification on this platform is limited to a point-in-time cross-check of identity and registration numbers (PAN/Reg) against public Inland Revenue Department (IRD) online records. This ensures that the entity or individual exists and is registered at the time of onboarding.
B. The Shield Badge Policy
The "Shield Badge" is provided only to investors who successfully complete the identity cross-check and explicitly request the badge for network trust purposes.
Our verification is a platform-level trust marker and does not replace the requirement for institutional users to perform their own professional KYC, AML, legal, and financial audits.
3. Investment Claims & Self-Declaration
A. Accuracy of Financial Data
All financial figures, including "Total Raised," "Investment Range," "Burn Rate," and performance metrics, are self-declared by the users. Nepal Venture provides the template for transparency, but we have no mechanism to independently verify these claims against bank statements or tax filings.
B. Intra-Network Funding Ledger
The "Verified Funding" marker indicates that a startup requested a funding verification via the platform, and a verified investor accepted that request.
Nepal Venture has no access to, nor reviews, the legal documents (such as Share Purchase Agreements or Bank Statements) associated with these claims. We provide this feature to add a layer of detail for informational purposes only, as a digital record of intra-network activity. It does not constitute legal proof of investment.
4. User Responsibility & Liability
Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content provided in their virtual deal rooms and investment profiles. Nepal Venture does not guarantee the success of any connection or the accuracy of any data provided by members.
By using this platform, you agree to indemnify and hold Nepal Venture harmless from any liability, losses, or damages arising from investment decisions, partnerships, or professional engagements initiated through platform discovery.
