A. Uploaded Content (Images & Icons)

NepalVenture.com hosts specific media assets including startup logos, founder icons, and member profile images. These assets are stored securely using enterprise-grade Cloudflare R2 storage infrastructure. This ensures high availability and security for the visual identity of our network participants.

B. External Documents & Access Links

To protect sensitive business intelligence, our platform does not directly host or store physical files such as business plans, audit reports, pitch decks, or legal registration certificates. Instead, our database only records the access links (e.g., to Google Drive, Dropbox, or private organizational servers) provided voluntarily by the user.

The security, permission management, and permanent storage of these external documents remain the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user. Nepal Venture does not maintain backups of these external archives and has no authority to modify or delete the source files.

A. Identity Cross-Checking

To maintain ecosystem integrity, we verify identity and legal entity status by cross-checking registration numbers (PAN/VAT/Reg) against public Inland Revenue Department (IRD) online databases.

This verification is limited to confirming the existence and current status of the legal entity at the time of profile auditing. It does not constitute a comprehensive financial audit, anti-money laundering (AML) certification, or full KYC (Know Your Customer) diligence. Users are expected to perform their own professional diligence before entering into any formal agreements.

A. Tiered Privacy Controls

The "Virtual Deal Room" (VDR) is designed to protect your sensitive data. While high-level performance indicators and sector tags are discoverable by verified members, all detailed contact data and document links are set to "Locked" by default.

Founder Approval: Access to locked archives is granted strictly via explicit founder approval. Founders maintain a real-time audit log of which verified members have viewed their deal room.

Contact Protection: Your business phone numbers and official emails are hidden from the discovery hub until you authorize a connection with a specific verified investor or partner.

A. Enabler Layer Policy

Nepal Venture acts strictly as an enabling layer for discovery. We do not participate in, facilitate, or have visibility into the actual transfer of funds or execution of legal investment contracts between parties.

By using this platform, you acknowledge that all traction claims and financial data are self-reported. We provide the infrastructure for transparency, but the veracity of the underlying business performance is not guaranteed by Nepal Venture.
